A very nice concept (and oh so actual), but I think the high contrast on the water (or oil) is a little bit too much, because looking at this in full view is not so comfortable as it should be. Also, eyes seem to be drawn to the big white patch in the upper part, which takes the focus off the very nice texture beneath it.

Not sure what could be done about that, though. Maybe playing with the curves a little would help, maybe using some kind of a filter?

And please, take this more as my way of saying "pretty good work", than me saying "you suck". Because you don't. I just criticize a lot.

Insanely bright, and looks very abstract. Is this all oil in the water? Pretty sad if so.
